  • Gilbert Arenas playfully shoots Nick Young with a BB gun during an NBA meeting
  • Arenas was taking revenge on Young for an earlier prank
  • Arenas and Young’s humorous recount of the incident adds to the NBA’s quirky stories

In a bizarre and unforgettable incident that left everyone in disbelief, former NBA player Gilbert Arenas shot his teammate Nick Young with a paintball gun during an official NBA gun awareness meeting. The prank took place in the midst of a serious gathering, highlighting the playful and unpredictable nature of professional athletes.

The story begins with Young and his teammates orchestrating a unique wake-up call for Arenas. Armed with paintball guns, they surprised Arenas by shooting him while he was asleep. This lighthearted prank set the stage for an even more unconventional episode the following day.

As if the paintball wake-up call wasn’t enough, Young decided to take the humor a step further. He brought a BB gun to the practice facility, perhaps to continue the playful vibe from the previous day. However, what happened next was beyond anyone’s expectations.

On the same day that Young brought the BB gun to practice, the NBA organized a meeting about gun safety awareness. The irony couldn’t have been more apparent. During the meeting, Arenas seized the BB gun from Young’s locker and playfully shot a pellet at him.

“He shooting me in front of everybody. I’m looking at the people, ahhh, y’all ain’t gonna do nothing.”

Ultimately, the story of Gilbert Arenas shooting Nick Young with a paintball gun during an NBA meeting serves as a reminder that even in the most competitive and high-stakes environments, athletes are human beings who enjoy a good laugh and the occasional prank.

It also shows how Arenas used to torture Young during their time at the Wizards.

Gilbert Arenas Used To Tortue Nick Young

Arenas and Young, both having enjoyed successful careers in the NBA, shared more than just a professional camaraderie. They formed a friendship that was marked by a series of playful pranks, teasing, and memorable incidents. Among these tales, one stands out as a testament to Arenas’ mischievous and unapologetic nature.

The story begins with Arenas taking it upon himself to play the role of a veteran guiding a rookie through the trials and tribulations of the NBA. Young, known by his nickname “Swaggy P,” became the unwitting target of Arenas’ antics.

Arenas revealed that he would often play pranks on Young, testing his patience and sense of humor. From breaking into Young’s house and teasing him to stealing his belongings, Arenas didn’t hold back.

However, the most peculiar and eyebrow-raising aspect of their rivalry was Arenas’ claim of “torturing” Young by being involved with women whom Young was romantically linked with.

Arenas admitted to having a hand in Young’s love life, claiming he had been intimate with women who were connected to Young in some way. The unconventional nature of Arenas’ actions showcased his willingness to go to great lengths to prank and tease his friend, even if it involved matters as personal as relationships.

Despite the audacity of Arenas’ actions, it’s important to note that their rivalry was built on a foundation of friendship and camaraderie. Young, known for his own sense of humor and playfulness, took Arenas’ pranks in stride. Their back-and-forth banter highlighted the unique bond that forms among teammates.
