The 2023 edition of Nike’s Peach Jam got underway, and many future NBA players are taking part in this extremely competitive event that takes place at the Riverview Park Activities Center.
LeBron James’ second son, Bryce, is among the players who are participating in this AAU tournament. He already made his debut on the first day of the tournament, and according to Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports, he had a huge audience that included NBA scouts.
“Scouts from the Lakers, Magic, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Heat, Knicks, Suns, Hawks and other teams all made James a priority on Day 1 of games.”
Bryce made his debut on Monday, with his team, Strive For Greatness, getting the 78-69 win over Expressions in the under-16 division. He had a solid game, scoring 12 points, shooting 2-for-6 from beyond the arc and 4-for-9 from the field. James is getting better and many teams have noticed his evolution.
While his older brother is set to start his first -and presumably only- season with USC, Bryce is making some noise as he gets ready to play in the NBA too. He has a bright future ahead, and things should only get better for him from now on.
LeBron James Was Ecstatic With Bryce’s Debut On Peach Jam
LeBron James wasn’t in attendance for Bryce’s first game, but he’s expected to be on the sidelines soon, supporting his second son. He still took to social media to hype up his son.
The King has been making some moves off the court and patiently waiting to see what the Los Angeles Lakers were able to do in free agency this year. According to his social media activity, James is content with the moves his team made and will surely be back next season.
After sparking a lot of reactions following his comments about retirement, James is ready to run it back and see if the Lakers can return to the Western Conference Finals and make it to the Finals again.
