Since falling short in the NBA Finals this year, the Miami Heat have been hard at work looking for ways to improve the roster and finally get Jimmy Butler the help he deserves. So far, the Heat are still looking for answers but one solution could come in the form of a trade with the Washington Wizards.

According to sources, Miami is strongly in the mix for Bradley Beal and they may not even have to give up Tyler Herro to pull off a trade. According to league insider Brett Siegel, the Heat are looking to get a deal done before the NBA Draft with an offer centered around Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo.

“Source: The Miami Heat are aggressively pursuing a Bradley Beal trade with the Wizards and are looking to get a deal done before the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday. A deal surrounding Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo’s salary and multiple draft picks is being discussed.”

While Beal is an All-Star level guard, his value isn’t the highest right now thanks to the details of his contract, which includes a payout of over $200 million for the next four years. It also includes a no-trade clause that eliminates all leverage the Wizards could possibly have.

For the Heat to take on that type of deal, it’s going to be a risk for them and there’s only so much they are willing to give up to make it happen. But if things work out the right way, and Beal finds a stride in Miami, it could have a major payoff.

Can The Heat Land Damian Lillard?

In the ultimate dream scenario for the Heat, they could land both Beal and Damian Lillard if they are willing to pay the price. If they can hang onto Herro in a Beal trade, they can use him to make a run for Lillard if he ever becomes available, and it would make Miami an absolute dynasty in the East.

Only time will tell how this summer plays out for the Heat, but you can bet they’ll be aggressively looking for ways to build up their roster. Whether it’s Dame, Beal, or someone else, it’s only a matter of time before they get what they want.
