The Denver Nuggets didn’t have the respect of anyone coming into the 2022-23 season. Even though they played well all throughout the regular season, fans weren’t convinced of their potential until they started winning in the playoffs. Now, they are just one win away from the championship with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray leading the way.

Love them or hate them, that tandem torched the league this season and their claim as the best partnership in the game can no longer be denied. Speaking on the ‘Some Dude Show,’ longtime LeBron associate CuffsTheLegend finally admitted that Jokic and Murray are at the top of the food chain.

“Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, this is the best duo in the world right now. I’m going to say that live on Amp right now. Jokic and Jamal Murray, they have too much in the toolbox. Offensively, they can do anything on that basketball court. there’s nothing they can’t do. The two-man game is working. The dribble handoff game with Jokic is working. The post-ups. You seeing Jokic put you on that low block. He’s special. I don’t know where we got to rank this guy.”

There is n doubt that Jokic is changing his public perception with this playoff run. If he’s able to close the deal and win the title, he’ll easily turn into a generational GOAT.

“Let’s say Jokic wins this title, right? And he never wins another one, and he finished with one ring, we’re gonna have to put him, skill-wise IQ wise, intangible wise.. we gotta put him ahead of a lot of great centers.”

Despite the flaws on defense, Jokic cannot be stopped. Whether it’s scoring for himself in the post or setting up a play for others, Nikola has a response for everything that is thrown at him.

Jay Williams Claims Jokic Is On Track To Become The Greatest Big Man Ever

As a 2x MVP winner already, Jokic’s legacy is already set — but a championship would put him in truly elite territory. To some, like Jay Williams, it’d make him the greatest big man in NBA history.

“I’m gonna go with the one player that I think frankly before it’s all said and done, he will be the best center to ever play the game of basketball,” said J-Will. “There you go. I’ve said it. Nikola Jokic.”

Jokic will probably need a few more championships before he earns that title, but nobody can deny his place at the top now. The only thing left to see is what more Jokic will be able to do before his career is said and done…
