Anthony Davis made headlines after getting hit in the head by Kevon Looney in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Davis was stunned by the blow and exited the game almost immediately. He was first taken to the locker room for examination. After that, Davis exited the Chase Center due to being at risk of being concussed. NBA reporter Sean Cunningham posted a clip on Twitter when Davis was leaving the arena and a photographer being told to kill the light on him.
“Anthony Davis leaving Chase Center after being struck in the head in Game 5. Photographer was told to kill the light that was on him.”

If a person gets concussed, they run the risk of getting photophobia. Keeping that in mind, it was no surprise that the photographer was asked to kill the light on Davis.
On a positive note, NBA reporter Chris Haynes revealed that Davis doesn’t have concussions and should be back for Game 6 of the series. But when the video was shot, there was still no confirmation of the severity of AD’s injury.
LeBron James Shares Concern For Anthony Davis
LeBron James and Anthony Davis share a great bond. Apart from sharing excellent chemistry on the court, the two superstars have become close friends over the years.
In the postgame conference, James shared his level of concern for Davis. The 38-year-old is just happy to know that AD is getting better.
“I didn’t see the (elbow from Looney), I just saw the aftermath. The medical team said he’s doing better, so that’s what matters the most.”
The Lakers are currently 3-2 in the Western Conference Semifinals. If they want to clinch the series in Game 6, they will need Anthony Davis to be back alongside LeBron James having a dominant game.
Will AD be healthy in time for Game 6? He has one day of complete rest to recover before playing the next game.
