The Golden State Warriors have evened up the second-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers with a 100-127 win.

Klay Thompson scored 30 points and splashed 8 threes in a star performance, while Anthony Davis had a shocking 11 points and 7 rebounds game and was held to the fire in the loss by fans.

Anthony Davis not showing up for Game 2 pissed fans off extremely.

Fans were furious to see the Lakers trail by over 30 in a playoff game.

A fan compared AD to Andre Drummond.

Fans even knew that Laker fans are going to eviscerate AD for his play.

Kevon Looney was taken out of the starting lineup for JaMychal Green, something many believed AD would take advantage of but desperately failed.

The passive play by AD really upset many Laker fans.

Fans loved seeing Klay Thompson explode the way he did tonight.

LeBron James scored 23 points for the Lakers in the game but scored 21 of them in the first half itself. Rui Hachimura had a great 21-point outing off the bench, but they just couldn’t keep up. Stephen Curry had 20 points with 12 assists, and Draymond Green had a near triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.

A Series Defining Game 3

Game 3 is going to be played in Los Angeles and will be a make-or-break game for both teams. The Warriors can take home-court advantage on the series back if they win, while the Lakers are currently 2-0 at home in the playoffs and will hope to make it 3-0 in Game 3.

Anthony Davis needs to step up, which this playoff trend indicates he will because he has monster performances every alternate game. LeBron James started the game really well but trailed off throughout the game. With the run the Warriors went on in the second and third quarters, it was clear that the Lakers weren’t locked in and let the game slip away.

The energy needs to be right in Game 3 because if you let the Warriors back into a series, it most definitely won’t end well for you.
