There were enough fireworks between former teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant during Game 2 of the playoffs clash between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns.

And the fans saw the funny side of it as they took to Twitter trying to figure out what the duo was screaming at each other.

This had fans sharing their two cents on the whole shebang. And safe to say the replies were hilarious at best. [Please note some of the comments below are edited for clarity].

One of the fans echoed the familiar “just have fun” phrase that Westbrook made famous when he was a Laker.

Win or lose, just have fun and play ball. https://t.co/CRRZrxgy2Z

“They were arguing over who owns OKC (but it’s actually SGA),” another fan tweeted.

Some felt they missed each other, and the two players had a weird way of showing it.

Probably talked about how much they miss each other https://t.co/moExtfYneI

This would have to be the funniest of them all…

Jokes aside, their on-floor skirmish seems to have been left on the hardwood as the two were seen shaking hands after the game.

The Suns bounced back with a resounding 123-109 win over the Clippers. Devin Booker (38 points) and Durant (23 points) led from the front, while Westbrook (28 points) and Kawhi Leonard (31 points) were the top scorers for LA.

Are The LA Clippers Low On Offensive Firepower Without Paul George?

Paul George would have been the difference maker for the Clippers with his two-way play, and the side sorely missed his services in a game in that they were trying to take the lead.

George is expected to miss the entirety of the first round of the playoffs due to his knee injury, and that places the scoring load on the likes of Westbrook and Kawhi.

Defensively, they have shown that they can more than just hold their own, but with Durant getting into his groove, it will only be a matter of time before he and Booker fire in unison consistently.

The Clippers will look to take it deep, hoping that George returns earlier than expected, but for that, they will need their players to bring their A-grade offense to the fore.
