The ‘NBA on TNT’ show has become popular due to some hilarious, friendly banter between Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal.
The two NBA legends once again went at it when Barkley was naming his list of all-time blockers when talking about Jaren Jackson Jr. leading the league in blocks (3.0 BPG) this season. Chuck left O’Neal’s name off the list for a hilarious reason.
“Alonzo Mourning, Mark Eaton, Dikembe, guy when I look at like you know he’s coming,” Barkley said. “When I played against those guys I mentioned, Jaren Jackson Jr. reminds me of that.”
While Barkley was talking about how Jackson Jr. reminds him of those guys, Shaquille O’Neal was hilariously waving to get his crewmate’s attention. Shaq finally had enough and asked Barkley to put him on that list. It led to a hilarious interaction between them.
Shaquille O’Neal: “Can you put me on that list?”
Charles Barkley: “No. You’re not a defender.”
Shaquille O’Neal: “I wasn’t a shot blocker?”
Charles Barkley: “You wasn’t.”
Shaquille O’Neal: “Bro, I’m in the top 10.”
Charles Barkley: “No, no, you wasn’t a shot blocker. … You are just big and ugly. But that’s another story for another time.”

The ‘NBA on TNT’ crew has always roasted Shaq for being big and ugly. A few months ago, Charles teamed up with Kenny Smith and claimed O’Neal has always been ugly.
Instead of getting angry at his crewmates, more often than not, Shaq comes right back at them with a remarkable comeback.
Shaquille O’Neal Once Lied On National Television About Ranking Higher Than Dikembe Mutombo On All-Time Blocks Lists
Shaquille O’Neal is regarded as one of the most dominant players in the history of the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers legend achieved this status thanks to his towering height and powerful playing style.
O’Neal also ranks number eight on the all-time blocks list, with 2,732 blocks to his name. However, Shaq once told Charles Barkley that he ranks above Dikembe Mutombo on the list, who has 3,289 blocks.
An NBA fan exposed Shaq for these claims by simply pulling up the NBA’s all-time block list. After getting exposed, O’Neal tried to defend him by saying he meant to say Alonzo Mourning’s name, not Dikembe Mutombo’s. But the damage was already done.
