Kyle Kuzma, just like the rest of the NBA world, reacted to the recent news about Utah Jazz’s star Lauri Markkanen.
The Finnish player is set to return to his home country to complete military service this offseason. Kuzma saw this as an opportunity and quickly took it. The forward took to Twitter and worked his ‘magic.’

Most fans did enjoy the joke and simply laughed at it, but it was clear that many of them didn’t like Kuzma’s words.

This is a basketball reference (no pun intended) by Kuzma, but not everybody was ready to hear this joke and laugh at it. Still, nobody can deny that Markkanen is having a terrific season with the Utah Jazz, although they’ve been eliminated from playoffs contention.
He was named an All-Star for the first time this season after having a memorable campaign with the Jazz. In 66 games this campaign, he has averaged 25.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game for the Jazz. Markkanen is shooting 49.9% from the field and 39.1% from beyond the arc.

Lauri is set to go back to Finland and complete military service, even though he still has four years to do it. He’ll turn 26 in May after a terrific season with the Jazz. At some point, they were the No. 1 team in the West, but they couldn’t keep up against the rest of the teams, even losing the chance to make it to the play-in tournament.
Even though life in Utah has been complex for Lauri, he’s now living a good moment with the team. They have a bright future, and if he keeps improving his level, the sky’s the limit for this man.
