The Golden State Warriors have been a far cry from the clinical and elite unit they were last season, and their dismal 726 away record has fans believing that the outfit is not winning a title.

The Warriors, marred by injuries and inconsistency have lost three of their last road games on the trot, with the latest one coming against the Memphis Grizzlies. They are 34-32 in the West and while they have looked good at home, their away record has been abysmal at best. This had fans taking digs at the team.

Please note that some of the comments have been edited for clarity.

One of the fans called it awful that the Warriors had a bad record to show for it.

On the game front, Stephen Curry (29 points) and Jordan Poole (22 points) did the major chunk of the scoring, however, it wasn’t enough to vault over the Grizzlies as they went down 131-110.

Stephen Curry Reacts To The Warriors’ Road Record This Season

The Golden State Warriors sharpshooter had his two cents on the team’s road record and while there was a tinge of humor that came with his words, there was no doubt that he was a worried man.

“I wish I could because then it wouldn’t be 7 or whatever, I blocked out the second number,” Curry said speaking to Ernie Johnson.

“We’ve had a revolving door of rotations and availability. We didn’t get off to a good start and then we went winless on our first 9. It’s just been a season where we haven’t been able to put together 48 minutes defensively and offensively on the road.”

The Warriors are still keeping their head over the water at this point, but with the playoffs race tightening up in the West, they can’t afford more slips as they stake their claim for a postseason berth. Only time will tell if they can find momentum in the games to come.
