Kyrie Irving is one of the most talented players the NBA has ever seen, showing his quality every season, but also adding some controversy with his off-court antics. The Brooklyn Nets superstar is now trying to lead his team to compete against the top squads in the Eastern Conference, showing that his quality is still there.

Irving has taken over on the Nets after Kevin Durant went down with a knee injury, trying to keep the Brooklynites afloat. After yet another controversy at the start of the season, Kyrie is now settled, focused on basketball and seeing that when he keeps a low profile, things go better for him.

He was named an All-Star Game starter this week, confirming that he’s back and ready to do it all on the court. Not only fans have noticed that Kyrie is really that great, but one of his peers recently had a hot take on Irving’s abilities with the basketball.

Austin Rivers Has Huge Praise For Kyrie Irving

Austin Rivers recently talked about Irving on his podcast Off Guard, going off while praising Irving and explaining why the 2016 NBA champion is such a special talent in his eyes.

“I think Kyrie Irving is the most beautiful basketball player to watch in terms of skill. He’s the most enjoyable to watch,” stated Rivers, via Clutch Points.

“I just think he has the sexiest game on the basketball court.”

“The stuff he does, I just like watching him more than – him and Damian Lillard.”

Rivers also mentioned Luka Doncic and James Harden, comparing them to Kyrie and the way they need to have the ball in their hands to be effective, but still, he picked Ky as his favorite, placing him among the others.

Irving is really great at what he does and is reportedly interested in keeping his talents in Brooklyn. The point guard has been playing at a high level this season, averaging 27.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, showing that he’s on that level again, set to take his team to the promised land, even without Kevin Durant.
