The Milwaukee Bucks have become a consistent fixture in the Eastern Conference contention picture, being a genuine title contender ever since 2018. Giannis ANtetokounmpo’s dominance as a Buck is one of the main reasons for this, winning every individual and team honor he could with the team since being drafted in 2013.

The Bucks have had a stagnant core that’s among the best in the league, hoping to win the title once again this season. The team has been in a rough patch, winning only 3 games in their last 9 efforts, losing the No. 2 seed to the Brooklyn Nets.

Giannis was interviewed by only 3 media members after practice two days ago, making a quip about the low turnout coming just as when the Bucks have been skidding.

“I lose a few games. Only the real ones are here.” 🤣

“What’s this? I lose a few games, only the real ones are here. Thank you guys, all three of you guys being here, and the camera crew. It’s always great to see how many people support the Bucks through the ups and downs. It’s great, I hope it’s this many people also when we win a championship.”

The media goes to the biggest stories, and Giannis hasn’t been featured as heavily in recent weeks. That is bound to change the second the Bucks become one of the scariest teams in the league when their roster finds good health and consistency.

Has The Championship Window Shut For The Milwaukee Bucks?

The Milwaukee Bucks are in their third season with the trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday. Each year the trio has gotten older, with fans wondering about regression this season. Middleton has struggled to stay healthy while Jrue’s offensive game has become increasingly inconsistent.

The front office is happy with their star-studded lineup and hopes that good health can bring them back to top form. Giannis is still among the best in the world and the Bucks will go deep into the playoffs with him alone. If they want to win a title, it will fall on everyone else and how they contribute over the season.
