Bojan Bogdanovic is an elite shooter in the NBA, and he is currently averaging 21.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG for the Detroit Pistons. There is no doubt that he would be a good addition to any contending team.

NBA analyst Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report has recently claimed that the Golden State Warriors should trade for Bojan Bogdanovic. He pointed out that the veteran would help the team offensively but noted that the Warriors would have to trade some of their young players to get a deal done.

The Warriors need help in a lot of areas, but giving Curry some assistance in the scoring and shot-creation departments might be the most important. When Curry returns, the Warriors can’t simply go back to wearing down their best player like they did through the first third of the season.

It may be that finally scrapping the two-timeline plan is the cost of doing business. Combining James Wiseman and Moses Moody’s salaries gets the Warriors to within $2.7 million of what it would take to get a deal done for Bogdanović and his 43.2 percent hit rate from deep. The Pistons, perhaps posturing, have eschewed other offers in search of a premium draft asset. Wiseman and Moody aren’t technically high-value picks, but Detroit could do much worse than a pair of former lottery selections who haven’t gotten chances to prove their worth on a title-chasing team.

It’d be dispiriting for the Warriors to finally punt on some of their youth, but Wiseman has been such a disappointment so far that a 33-year-old role player may be the best return possible.

There is no doubt that Bojan Bogdanovic could potentially help the Golden State Warriors with his skill set and experience. There are a number of teams that are interested in him already, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, and we’ll see if the Warriors end up getting in the mix.

The Detroit Pistons Might Not Trade Bojan Bogdanovic

Though he has been featured in a number of trade rumors, there’s a chance that the Detroit Pistons will decide not to trade Bojan Bogdanovic at all. A previous report stated that they have “shown a lot of reluctance” in trading him, and it was noted that he could “make sense for them in years to come.”

“The Pistons have shown a lot of reluctance to rival teams about the prospects of moving Bogdanovic. He’s a guy that can make sense for them in years to come. They want to improve, hopefully, in the next few years, so that’s a guy you might want to build around. The Lakers will continue to be aggressive in the trade market and Bogdanovic is one of the guys that looms large.”

It remains to be seen who ends up trading for Bojan Bogdanovic in the future. He is an elite complementary player that provides a ton of spacing due to his prowess from the 3PT line

Hopefully, Bojan Bogdanovic ends up on a contender where he can realistically compete for a championship. There are a lot of winning teams that need him, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
