We wanted to both win, but we wanted to do it two different ways. It didn’t work. But as far as him and I go as people, I don’t hate him, and he doesn’t hate me. I wouldn’t say we’re the best of friends, but we’re not at the point where it’s like, I can’t stand him.”
The Jazz surprised everybody during the first month and a half of the 2022-23 season, but now they’re sitting at 8th in the West, which is still impressive considering they were seen as a tanking team before the start of the season. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are the 3rd best team in the East, while the Minnesota Timberwolves are two spots behind the Jazz in the West.
Mitchell plays against his former team today in a game that will bring many emotions to him.
