Austin Reaves’ mom, Nicole Wilkett, was an accomplished basketball player at the collegiate level. She averaged 21.3 points per game during her senior season at Arkansas State. Reaves comes from a basketball family and has likely been coached by his parents from a young age, making the frustration he is talking about coming from his mother seem very understandable.
