Kevin Durant has a claim to be the best player in the world at the moment. And while he’s not No. 1 on some of the lists, there is one list he tops without question. KD is by far the most active NBA superstar on Twitter when it comes to engaging with fans and media. Durant is all about keeping it real, too, it always seems like he’s typing the tweets himself, something a lot of NBA stars leave up to their social media teams.
And okay, he may not be the same KD that was tweeting at Scarlett Johansson about drinking her bath water, but he’s still around to put people in their place if they get too cocky. And since fans know that there is always a good chance Durant will engage, he constantly gets tagged in opinions about himself. Considering that his legacy is a divisive subject though, those conversations aren’t exactly always flattering to the star.
Kevin Durant Engaged With A Fan That Tagged Him In A Debate About Whether He Is A Legend
NBA fans love debating about legacy, something KD has mocked on social media in the past. But when he was tagged in a conversation about his status as a legend, he seemed to forget his disdain and try to diss the people that were debating it.

The debate included some of Durant’s recent performances in the playoffs. The video had one person talking about how he single-handedly took the series to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. And the other side of the argument seemed to be that he couldn’t get it done in overtime when it mattered. And when a fan tried to make the conversation seem objective, KD had a very simple response ready for that as well.

That is a difficult one to argue with.Kevin Durant would always consider himself to be the authority on this subject over anyone debating it online. It’s hard to refute his point too, if anyone knows NBA legends, it’s KD. There is a lot to be said about how Durant’s legacy stacks up against other basketball greats, but suggesting that he isn’t a legend is a bit much.
