Many players in the NBA earn reputations where they are known as the perfect veterans to have on a contending roster. Danny Green is perhaps the best example of this, having been on some of the best teams of the last decade. Similarly, Patrick Beverley has been a playoff player his entire career. Another player in that mold is Jae Crowder.
Crowder has been a playoff veteran in his career, playing for 5 different teams in the postseason during his career. He has played for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, Miami Heat, and the Phoenix Suns. Through this level of regularity and being a part of those Celtics squads that would make deep runs in the East, Crowder has been able to rack up 1,142 points in the postseason in his career
His 1,142 points is more than former New Orleans Pelicans teammates Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday. While the Pelicans weren’t playoff regulars, both AD and Jrue have become NBA Champions on their new teams, the LA Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Both players won their titles over a team Crowder was on in the Finals.

Jae Crowder’s Recent Playoff History
Jae Crowder made consecutive NBA Finals in 2020 and 2021 with different teams, as he was on the Miami Heat and then on the Phoenix Suns. Sadly for Jae, he lost both the Finals, first to the LA Lakers with Anthony Davis and then to the Milwaukee Bucks with Jrue Holiday.
Crowder had a tough time in the 2022 playoffs as well, as he had to watch his Phoenix Suns get torched by the underdog Dallas Mavericks in the Conference Semi-Finals. His minimal impact in that series may endanger him to being moved away from the Phoenix Suns.
Crowder is currently linked with a trade to the Utah Jazz, as Phoenix Suns look to acquire Bojan Bogdanovic. Teams like the Miami Heat have been interested in Crowder, so a Miami reunion may be in the cards if Phoenix-Utah-Miami can come to an agreement that sends draft compensation from both Phoenix and Miami to Utah.
