Luka Doncic is ready to enter the fifth NBA season of his career. Despite just four seasons of experience under his belt, many believe that Luka has the potential to one day become the face of the NBA. He has already reached the NBA Western Conference Finals once in his career.
Unfortunately, Doncic was unable to get past the experienced Golden State Warriors in the WCF. Regardless, he gave his very best, and it only seems a matter of time before Luka starts winning individual and team accolades.
Ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season, Doncic is currently playing for the Slovenian national team in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 tournament. Luka, alongside Goran Dragic, is the heart and soul of the team. The two players have already led the team to victory once back in 2017 and will be hoping for a result along similar lines.
While the two players might be teammates, there is still a sense of competition between them. It was evident from a hilarious clip where Doncic can be seen trying to pull off the water bottle flip challenge against Dragic.
The bottle flip challenge is difficult as it is, and Doncic found a way to make it even more difficult. The 23-year-old was trying to get the bottle to land on the top of his head. It was certainly hilarious, and one NBA fan even talked about Luka being a great talent but having tendencies of a kid.
This also showed the competitive side of Doncic as he wanted to defeat his teammate Dragic. If Luka continues to show that competitive side in the NBA, it’s possible that he might win an NBA Championship sooner than we are anticipating.
