If you are a fan of the NBA, then there’s no way that you can disagree with the fact that Stephen Curry’s one of the best players in the league right now. The Golden State Warriors superstar proved that once again in the 2021-22 NBA season.

He carried the Warriors to an amazing postseason run in the 2022 playoffs. It ultimately ended up in the Dubs winning the 2022 NBA Championship. This meant the Warriors won their fourth NBA Championship in the last eight seasons.

Despite all the success that Curry has achieved in the NBA, Kevin Durant’s former Mike James called out Steph. Mike labeled Curry as a one-dimensional player. Obviously, it was met with a lot of resistance from the NBA community.

Additionally, Curry even clapped back at Mike James for his comments. Fast forward to now, James evidently tracked back on his comments about Curry.

Via BasketNews:

“I think I said a lot of controversial things in general because I think outside the box. But for some reason, every time I mention Steph Curry, everybody gets mad, and everybody assumes I don’t like him. But I think he’s amazing. To be honest, he changed basketball. Like seven years ago, everybody started shooting threes and playing small ball. Not only because of him. Like 75% of him, and then like the other 25% the Warriors. I don’t have a problem with him.”

While what Mike said about Curry is one hundred percent true, it seems like he is just saying this due to receiving a lot of backlash from NBA fans.

Regardless of whether he thinks it is true or not, it doesn’t change the fact that Curry is one of the greatest players of all time. When he retires from the league, he will certainly be considered a legend of the league.
