Giannis Antetokounmpo is at the peak of his powers at the current point in his career. Giannis is 27, his prime has just begun, and he has already won every major accolade that the NBA has to offer. His career so far has parallels to Michael Jordan, which is a huge achievement for any player.

There are very few players that have enjoyed a start to their career like Giannis and it has resulted in him already being considered one of the Top 75 players of all time. His freakish athletic ability and his stellar injury record are massive contributors to his brilliant performances.

And Nick Wright has made a bold prediction about his career, claiming he could end up being thought of as one of the 6 best players of all time on the Dan Patrick Show. And beyond that, he has also compared the Greek Freak to LeBron James, who the analyst backs as the GOAT.

“If Khris Middleton didn’t get hurt, the conversation we’re having right now is could Giannis enter the Jordan, LeBron, Kareem pantheon? Why couldn’t he? He’s got the MVPs, he would have two titles. I think Giannis is gonna finish his career as one of the six greatest players ever.

“I think he’s gonna win a bunch more titles. His position is just perfect. Like LeBron in his prime, he seems uninjurable. I watched his knee go sideways, he missed a week! I thought he tore every ligament, he missed one week and then averaged 35 in the Finals. He’s brilliant on the defensive end.”

Antetokounmpo will hopefully be able to stay injury-free for the rest of his prime, which will allow him to enter the lists that Wright is talking about. However, longevity and consistency are important factors, both are easier said than done. If Giannis can actually reach that point, it will be another testament to his greatness.
