The Golden State Warriors brought Stephen Curry back into the playing roster for the franchise’s win over the Toronto Raptors tonight after Curry missed the last game after concerns about a heavy load for the 36-year-old. Unfortunately, Steph picked up an injury against the Raptors in the second half of their clash.
Steph would suffer a hard foul after body-on-body contact on a drive, getting up slowly and being ruled out of the game.

Fans were furious at how the injury played out and expressed concern for the Warriors star.
“Face of the league injured because the refs never care to protect him. Where’s tf is the foul???,” said one angry Warriors fan pissed at this play being a no-call.
“NBA Officials, you guys are so bad at your job that you are actively getting Steph Curry hurt. You should all be fined and fired for such a miserable display of officiating,” said another angry fan.
“Steph just got flatlined, no whistle,” said another fan who was pretty shocked at the referees ignoring such a dangerous foul.
“Steph is down and in major pain, damn it. He should’ve sat,” said another fan upset Curry returned for this game against the Raptors.
“It really is tricky fine line between a sense of urgency and making sure guys are rested. We’ve seen the downsides of both. Just hope that Steph is 100% asap,” said a concerned Warriors fan who wants to balance keeping the stars healthy while keeping their push for the No. 6 seed alive.
“That’s why Steph Curry takes 70% of his shots from 3. He’s super efficient at them and driving doesn’t do shit but get him injured because the refs don’t ever set a precedent for how much contact is allowed with him. They just let defenses play football with him every game,” said another fan explaining why Curry has such a low-risk playstyle.
Curry had scored 17 points (6-8 FG) in 25 minutes of action, building up to what could’ve been an explosive offensive night for the guard. Unfortunately, the injury would sideline him for the game.
His teammates stepped up in his absence, with Draymond Green leading the squad with 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Jimmy Butler notched a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists while four other players scored in double-digits.
Curry is averaging 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists this season. The Warriors have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA since acquiring Butler at the NBA trade deadline, but even a short-term absence from Curry will significantly halt their momentum this season.
