Donovan Mitchell is one of the most recurrent names around the NBA recently after the Utah Jazz reportedly decided to discuss trade scenarios for him. The talented shooting guard has done a good job with his team in the regular season, but things always fell apart in the postseason.

It seems like the team’s new management is going on a different route now and wants to start a new era in Utah. Getting rid of their top draft pick in 2018 is now a good idea for them, and it looks like many teams are already showing their offers to the Jazz.

While the New York Knicks and Miami Heat look like the strongest candidates to land Mitchell this offseason, other teams could make a surprising run for him in the next couple of weeks. Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright recently named two of them, first going with the Philadelphia 76ers as the best team to complete a deal with the Jazz.

Donovan Mitchell to the 76ers or the Grizzlies?

"Tobias Harris & Tyrese Maxey for Donvan. And Memphis has the picks + Jaren Jackson. Those teams, Donvan walks in & it's 'like we can win the title.' If I'm a bad team I don't want to give up future picks." — @getnickwright pic.twitter.com/EFqOzcpU5n

“Philly should make a phone call. Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey for Donovan Mitchell. They’d be no picks. What you will be getting is Tyrese Maxey, that’s the young guy on a rookie contract who one day could be Donovan Mitchell…”

He also mentioned the Memphis Grizzlies, saying that they have the picks and one player that makes as much money as Mitchell, so it would be an easy move for them.

“The other team is Memphis. Memphis does have the picks, and they can trade Jaren Jackson, who makes the same money as Donovan Mitchell. Jaren Jackson plus picks. Those teams, Donovan walks in and it’s like, ‘oh, we can win the title.’ And he doesn’t have to be your No. 1 option.”

Mitchell is not Kevin Durant by any means, but he’s drawing a lot of attention around the league. Not only the Knicks and Heat will fight hard for his services, but many teams could join this race and make a shocking move this offseason. Where he’ll play next? Time will tell.
