In the last decade or so, there has been no NBA organization more successful than the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs have won four NBA Championships in the last eight seasons.
They won their most recent title in the 2021-22 NBA season. It was a great season, and it once again reminded fans that the Warriors dynasty is far from over yet. If anything, they are getting started for round 2 and will probably try to complete a three-peat.
One of the biggest reasons for the Dubs’ success is their ability to find uncut gems and hone them into great players. In the 2021-22 NBA season, the Warriors did so with Gary Payton II.
After initially being waived from the team before the start of the 2021-22 NBA season, Payton II still found his way back to the roster. That decision turned out to be a game-changer for the Warriors.
Payton II gave the Dubs much-needed defensive resilience, and a great defense is always very crucial for any championship-contending roster. Unfortunately, despite a great season with the team, Payton II was let go by the Dubs due to financial restrictions.
The Young Glove then signed a 3-year $28 million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. It seems like getting the bag has led Payton II to stop caring about what he likes on Twitter.
Recently, a fan spotted a post by an OnlyFans model on GPII’s likes on Twitter. The post featured an NSFW picture of the model.

While some fans trolled Payton II for getting a big contract and spending it on OnlyFans, others just called out the original poster for digging deep into the Twitter likes of someone else.
Anyway, let’s hope that Payton II has a great career ahead. After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, he has come a long way. He is already an NBA champion, but can he help the Portland Trail Blazers win a title as well?
