Ja Morant is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting young players in the league and also one of the best point guards in the league. He led the Memphis Grizzlies to the No. 2 seed this season while winning the Most Improved Player award.
Usually, we see Ja Morant make headlines for his basketball play. However, recently, he went viral because he tipped a waitress $500, which is clearly a generous gesture. The video of the encounter went viral because the waitress did not recognize him, which led to a hilarious situation.
Recently, Ja Morant stated that him tipping workers heavily is an “everyday thing”, claiming that he lives by the motto “blessings come when you bless others”. That is a great mindset to have, and it’s fantastic to see that Ja Morant is willing to be generous to regular working-class people.

A lot of NBA players try to make others’ lives better with their wealth, and Ja Morant is just the latest person to do it. He recently signed a massive $193 million extension with the Memphis Grizzlies, and it is clear that he’s trying to give blessings to others after being blessed himself.
The Memphis Grizzlies should be contenders once again next season, especially if young players like Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. take a step forward. They lost in the second round this year, but next season, they should be right back in the mix as one of the best teams in the league. Hopefully, we see the Memphis Grizzlies win a championship during Ja Morant’s tenure, and only time will tell if that will end up happening.
