Stephen Curry has been having a blast this offseason. The Warriors guard is coming off arguably his finest hour in the NBA after winning his 4th championship to go with his first Finals MVP award as he and Golden State silenced a lot of their doubters.

On the way to winning that title, the Warriors met some stern resistance at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies, and things got quite chippy in that series. Draymond Green kickstarted it with his ejection in Game 1, and things only got worse after Dillon Brooks’ flagrant foul in Game 2 led to Gary Payton II fracturing his elbow. The drama ended up dragging on into the offseason as Draymond and Ja Morant went at it, with the latter wanting a Christmas Day meeting between the sides next season.

While Curry has stayed away from any of that offseason talk, he did have a hilarious reaction when a fan threw a Memphis Grizzlies ball to him at a celebrity golf tournament.

Curry didn’t realize at first that it was a Grizzlies ball, but the moment he did, he laughed and punted it away. Warriors-Grizzlies has all the elements one needs for an epic rivalry, and we can only hope that it lives up to the hype. These two will, in all likelihood, be in the mix for the championship next season, and it would be amazing to see them duel it out once again in the postseason.

Steph has been having fun at the tournament, and when asked in the lead-up to it if Charles Barkley could finish in the top 70, he replied with a definitive no and took a light-hearted jab at Sir Charles as well. It looks like Steph might end up being right with his assessment of Barkley’s chances, but Chuck is close enough at the moment, as he finds himself at 73rd.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
