Josh Hart Sparked A Huge Debate Among NBA Fans With His Opinion: “Ranch Is Way Better Than Blue Cheese.”

Josh Hart has been a fan favorite around the league for the last few seasons for his fun-loving nature on the court and on social media. The man that was once an ancillary piece in the trade to bring Anthony Davis to the Lakers has established himself as a solid role player in the NBA.

Hart was traded from New Orleans to the Portland Trail Blazers last season for CJ McCollum. Hart played the remaining season for a tanking Portland team without Damian Lillard. He seems set to be a part of the team’s rotation for next season when they are looking to be competitive once again.

The season is 3 months away, so Hart decided to have some off-season fun on Twitter. The former Villanova guard chose to share his opinion on whether he prefers ranch or blue cheese. His proclamation as a member of team ranch split NBA Twitter into a conversation about the subject.

Ranch is way better than blue cheese

Blue cheese is literally moldy cheese, what are those people doing

— Austin White (@ajw_sports) July 5, 2022

In general? Yes. But for hot wings? Blue cheese.

Evidently, everything comes down to subjective opinions with firm viewpoints on both sides. Hart did not need to elaborate on his stance. He just told the world what he felt and let the world argue over it for a couple of hours.

Hart is going to be a great fit on the full-strength Trail Blazers, with Jerami Grant also joining the team. He could start next to Lillard in the back-court or come off the bench for Anfernee Simons. Considering both Simons and Lillard will command the ball when they’re on the court, Hart is an ideal off-ball guard.

His effort on rebounding (averaged 7.2 rebounds last season) and defense will be extremely valuable in adding some defensive ability in Portland. He is a plug-and-play player, so if Coach Chauncey Billups can find the right role for Hart, he could be an impactful and useful member of the rotation next season.
