Klay Thompson is one of the best shooters in the NBA, both currently and in terms of all-time rankings. He has bounced back well from his injuries and has performed decently in the playoffs. This year in the postseason, Klay Thompson has averaged 19.4 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 2.3 APG.

During his career, Klay Thompson has developed a reputation for showing up in Game 6 of any given series in the playoffs. He has had some explosive scoring performances in multiple Game 6 games. He has even stated previously that he’d youtube “Game 6 Klay” to get out of his shooting slump.

“I’ll probably just YouTube ‘Game 6 Klay’ because there’s some very high pressurized situations I was in and I ended up shooting the ball well,” Thompson added. “When you can do it when your back is up against the wall, you know you can do it at any given moment.”

Trae Young has recently predicted that Klay Thompson will try to score 60 points in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics. There is no doubt that we’ve seen Klay Thompson have performances where he simply does not miss, and he would need to have another one of those to fulfill Young’s prediction.

I feel like Klay going for 50 in Game 6 , he just getting warm right now.

It will definitely be difficult for Thompson to score 50 points against the Boston Celtics’ defense, but it is certainly possible if they focus on stopping Stephen Curry, thus leaving him wide open.

It remains to be seen who ends up winning the Finals, and thus the 2022 NBA championship. The Golden State Warriors are up 3-2 right now, but the Boston Celtics have a chance to force Game 7 if they win Game 6 in Boston. There’s no doubt that it has been an entertaining series, and we’ll have to wait to find out who ends up triumphant.
