With home-court advantage lost and the Warriors down 1-0 in the series, tonight’s match in the 2022 Finals will have major implications on the series.

If Golden State losses tonight, it means they will have to win four out of the next five games if they want to come out as champions.

Fortunately for the Warriors, fans still have confidence they can win — including famous rapper E-40, who made the following statement about his team:

(via TMZ)

“This gonna be a good series, but I got us in 6. And if it goes 7, we’ll win,” 40 said. “We had them. 4th quarter come, them boys would not stop hitting them 3s. As long as they shooting like that throughout the whole series we gonna be straight. That was very rare. They was hitting and we was bricking.”

“I think [game 2] is very important. The home team advantage is always the best. As long as we show support, we get louder in there, we show them we’re right there with ’em. I think we’ll win, and I think we’ll win a couple of games on the road. I think we’re gonna surprise everybody. We just had a bad 4th quarter man.”

However you feel about the Warriors, 40 isn’t wrong in his assessment of game 1. The Dubs controlled the majority of the game, building two separate double-digit leads. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when the Cs broke loose and mounted a huge run to close the game.

The key to victory for the Warriors tonight will be consistency. If they can manage to avoid giving up such a big run in the fourth and play well for a full 48 minutes, it should result in a tied series heading back to Boston.

There’s no reason to think the Dubs are not capable of such a feat.
