Giannis Antetokounmpo was unable to capture his second straight title this year. Still, the NBA superstar isn’t letting his shortcomings on the court get in the way of a good time with his family.

This weekend, the Greek Freak went viral for posting this wholesome vacation photo to the Twitter timeline:

Giannis is a loyal guy who works hard on his body, mind, and game to achieve ultimate success on the basketball court. Last year, he was able to bring home a title for Milwaukee after years of early playoff exits.

Despite losing again this year, he was in good spirits throughout the postseason and admitted that he will use what he learned this season to make him better going forward:

“No matter what happens, you grow from it,” Giannis said ahead of Game 7. “I remember in 2018 we lost to Boston in a Game 7. I didn’t have the best game, but you learn from it. You learn what the atmosphere is like, when the ball gets heavy. So, no matter what happens, we’re gonna leave that game and we’re gonna be better. If we’re gonna be the team advancing, great, I hope so, we’re gonna play hard. If not, at the end of the day, we’re gonna learn. We’re gonna learn from this. We’re gonna be better.”

For Giannis, basketball isn’t everything, and losing is just part of the experience. He works hard and has come a long way since his debut, but knows that family is ultimately the most important thing for any man.

Instead of hunkering down and feeling shame for his defeat, he’s out there living his best life and enjoying the precious moments he gets to spend with his boys.

Seriously, how can anyone hate on this guy?
