The Boston Celtics have managed to upset the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, beating them 120-108. There’s no doubt that this was a great start to the series for the Boston Celtics, as they have managed to steal a win on the road in Chase Center.

Al Horford was a player that stepped up big for the Boston Celtics, putting up 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, while also shooting 75% from beyond the arc. He made big shots for the Boston Celtics throughout the 4th quarter, and fans even compared him to LeBron James because of how focused he was on winning this game.

After the game, Al Horford was caught blowing a kiss to the Golden State Warriors fans at the end of Game 1. There is no doubt that this was just a little bit of playful banter from Al Horford.

Even though many may feel tempted to overreact to the results of Game 1, there is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors could still come back to win this series. Many teams do in fact come back even after losing Game 1.

With that being said, the Boston Celtics have shown that they deserve to be here and that they have the ability to win this series. Jayson Tatum didn’t score at a high rate in the 1st game, but the Boston Celtics still managed to win due to his supporting cast stepping up and making shots off of his playmaking.

This series has officially gotten interesting, and we’ll see if the Golden State Warriors are able to respond in Game 2. One would think they would win at home, but as this series has shown, it is possible to beat them even if they have a home-court advantage. However, this series can definitely go the full 7 games, and we’ll see if that ends up happening.
