The NBA world is not just limited to the superstars that play the game of basketball at the highest level, but also the vast media universe that surrounds it. The various analysts, interviewers, and presenters that facilitate interactions with players and analyze the game the fans love become celebrities in their own right, and their lives become a part of the everyday conversation as well.

Taylor Rooks, Malika Andrews, and other such presenters have huge fan followings of their own, with fans recently reacting to photos from Rooks’ birthday party. Ashley Nicole Moss is another rising star in this space. Moss is known for her work with Knicks Fan TV and her contributions to SNY and Sports Illustrated, she works as a sports television/radio host.

Her recent tweet got a lot of attention as fans found it quite funny and it shows exactly how making it to the big leagues affects the way people treat you, so it has a bit of a message as well:

a reminder to always treat people with kindness and respect. life has a funny way of ALWAYS coming full circle

“The same ex who told me i ‘wouldn’t be anything’ without him just DM’d me asking if i could hook him up with tickets to G5 of Celtics/Heat.

“A reminder to always treat people with kindness and respect. Life has a funny way of ALWAYS coming full circle.”

Moss’ response to the situation was even funnier, with her directing said ex to a general website to buy tickets:

i sent him the link to Ticketmaster 🤷🏽‍♀️ https://t.co/soFGpolVQW

“I sent him the link to Ticketmaster.”

Navigating a professional career well enough to make it to the top of your field and becoming a known personality is quite difficult, and as it is in sports, there are a lot of people that will show doubt in a person’s abilities. However, as this story shows, those same people are quick to reach out if and when the same person does make it big.
