Engaged in an epic playoff battle, this series between the Bucks and Celtics has been one for the ages.
In Game 1, the Bucks flexed their size and strength in an impressive statement win. What followed was an excellent response by Boston, who came out and held the Bucks to just 86 points in Game 2.
In Milwaukee for Game 3, things got pretty intense down the stretch as the Cs rallied to a late-game lead at one point. Eventually, thanks to a 40-piece by Giannis and a go-ahead shot by Jrue Holiday, the Bucks walked away with the tight win, taking a decisive 2-1 lead in the series.
One of the stories of the night was Jayson Tatum, who only scored 10 points on 21% shooting.
On Twitter, fans went crazy blitzing him with criticism and reacting to the game as a whole. Here are some of the best tweets that we found:
Wow what an insane ending.

What a ride Bucks-Celtics was. Giannis is otherworldly. 30 shots for Giannis and Jrue is probably the way it’ll have to be with no Middleton. Celtics went too much away from the drive and kick all game, especially with Tatum badly struggling. Last 2 minute report will be comical.

Fuck.
This one hurts. For sure missed a big opportunity to take back the home court advantage. Still feeling pretty encouraging all things considered, but this one hurts, especially with how amazing Al Horford was all game long. Now gotta come back with a vengeance for Game 4.

The Bucks have been without Middleton for the series, meaning they’ve somehow built this 2-1 lead while being down their second-best player.
For Giannis, it only solidifies his claim as the NBA’s best. An unstoppable force on offense, the Greek Freak has also been a beast on the defensive end — and it’s a big reason why his team is where they’re at right now.
“This dude’s the best basketball player in the world, and I’m willing to say by far. No disrespect to Joel Embiid, Joker, Kevin Durant,” said Charles Barkley. “This guy is the best basketball player, and we have started taking him for granted, because he won back-to-back MVPs, and then he won a championship. This guy is incredible.”
The final score of the game was 103-101 and it won’t be until Monday night when the Celtics will have a chance to respond.
But no matter who wins the series, this has been one to enjoy for viewers. As two of the best teams remaining, the Celtics and Bucks have made things competitive, interesting, and very intense so far.
Hopefully, this one keeps going for a while so we get some more games to watch.
