The Phoenix Suns looked completely in control during the first half of their game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Devin Booker was on fire, scoring 31 points across the first 2 quarters. Booker appeared to take over the game. And at one point in the game, Booker made an incredible shot and fell into the crowd. After seeing the shot go in, Booker shared an adorable moment with a young fan in the crowd.
After making the tough shot, Devin Booker sat on the floor, and looked to his left, seeing a young fan sitting with his parents. In a heartwarming moment, Booker gave the baby a fist bump, before quickly getting up and running back to defend the Pelicans on their possession. It was a very cute moment that Booker shared, one that the fan will have with them for the rest of their life.

Booker wouldn’t get to play too long in the second half, as he sustained a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined. Booker will be evaluated again tomorrow to see how long he will have to be sidelined. The Pelicans ended up coming back and defeating the Suns, something that was aided by Booker’s injury. The Suns will be hoping that Booker will not be around for too long, as the Pelicans are proving to be a problem.
Booker has been incredible throughout the regular season and played well during his first two games in the playoffs. One can make the argument for Booker being the most important player for the Suns, as he is their primary scoring option, and allows Chris Paul to focus purely on his playmaking. Booker’s presence also draws attention from the opposition’s best defenders, which allows other Suns players to take advantage.
