Trae Young is one of the best offensive players in the league. There’s no doubt that he is a point guard that is capable of doing almost everything on that side of the ball, and that was on display in the recent matchup between the Hawks and the Cavaliers. Young finished with 38 points and 9 assists and got the Hawks the win.

Aside from his prowess on the court, Trae Young is also known for being a good trash-talker. He doesn’t shy away from talking to his opponent, and that was notably on display during last season’s series between the Hawks and the Knicks.

At the end of the game, Trae Young trolled the Cavaliers’ crowd after the Atlanta Hawks sealed the win. He was caught on camera asking “where’d everybody go” after the Hawks got a crucial rebound, and also waved goodbye to the Cavaliers’ fans after the game was officially over.

It is clear that Trae Young is somebody who isn’t afraid of trash-talking his opponents and playing the role of villain. He is also someone who has the talent, the skillset, and the mindset to back it all up. He has shown up multiple times in must-win games, and he clearly realizes what he’s capable of.

Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks will face the Miami Heat in their first-round matchup, and that isn’t going to be an easy series. The Miami Heat have the defense and the length to slow down Trae Young, and they have a fairly deep team.

With that being said, Trae Young will likely be the best player in that series. He is clearly establishing himself as a superstar, and superstars can sway matchups. While the Miami Heat will likely be favored in the series, a Trae Young-led team cannot be counted out.
