Kevin Love Admits He Wants LeBron James Back With The Cavaliers: “Cleveland And Akron And All Of Ohio Loves Him. It’d Be Great To Get Bronny Here Too And Then We Can Call It A Day.”

LeBron James is responsible for bringing the Cleveland Cavaliers their only championship in the organization’s history and helping them reach the NBA finals on 5 separate occasions. Even though he left in frustrating circumstances after his first stint, LeBron left Cleveland on better terms when he joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018.

There has been a lot of talk about where LeBron might end his career, especially after his revelation that he will spend a year playing on whatever team drafts his son Bronny James. And his former teammate in Kevin Love has some ideas, recently telling Fansided that it would be a storybook situation for LeBron to rejoin the Cavaliers and for the team to also somehow bring Bronny James into the fold.

“I mean, that’s like a storybook ending for him,” Love said when asked if James would be welcomed back by his hometown team. “I don’t want to project what he may or may not want to do, but where our team is trending and how we’re set up to win for a very long time and how much you know, Cleveland and Akron and all of Ohio loves him. It’d be great to get Bronny [James] over here too and then we’ll call it a day.”

The Cavaliers have an excellent young core, and having LeBron back to guide them could be great, although it would change the plans for the rebuild they have going on. The sentimental value of such a move is obvious but there are other factors for the organization to consider when deciding this.

One thing is certain, there could be no better ending in terms of narrative than for LeBron to return and lead Cleveland to another championship with their young core before retiring. Of course, the chances of that happening are next to none, but if it does, you can be sure the movie rights for that story would go for a lot!
