Tuesday night was a terrible night for Lakers nation. It all started when LeBron James was ruled out for their game against the Luka Doncic-led Dallas Mavericks, who looked like even bigger favorites to win the match against a short-handed team.
Doncic demolished them and recorded a triple-double against the Purple and Gold, dropping 34 points, to go along with 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Luka had a terrific night, putting up incredible numbers at halftime, which set the alarms at Crypto.com Arena.
During Tuesday’s edition of NBA on TNT, Shaquille O’Neal was challenged to wear a pink suit if Luka finished the night with 35 points on his record. A video of the Big Diesel walking around the beach with pink swimwear, sending everyone into a frenzy.
Dwyane Wade couldn’t help his laughter, while Candace Parker was really shocked to see O’Neal wearing that. Even after the video stopped, she had to ask if that was real, and Shaq admitted it was.
NBA fans reacted to the video and left some comments for Shaq, mostly trolling the 4x NBA MVP and pointing out that Luka had 34 points heading into the 4th quarter.

Ultimately, Luka stopped at 34 since the job was already done, finishing one of his best nights this season. The Dallas Mavericks are having a terrific season, even exceeding expectations, being one of the top-4 teams in the Western Conference this campaign. It was really close for Shaq, but Jason Kidd subbing out Luka prevented him from going viral next Thursday.
