Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz had a really poor performance against the LA Clippers. In what was the first game back for Paul George in almost 4 months, the Utah Jazz blew a 25-point lead to the LA Clippers and lost the game. This was a repeat of their performance against the LA Clippers in the 2021 NBA playoffs when they were eliminated by the Clippers in the second round.

After the game, Jazz star Donovan Mitchell expressed his frustration with himself and his team’s performance. He noted that he can’t seem to figure out why this keeps happening to the Utah Jazz, and this was the same problem they faced when they played against the LA Clippers in the playoffs last year. Mitchell was very frustrated and had some choice words about the situation.

Mitchell and the Jazz were the second seed in the Western Conference last season but failed to make the Western Conference Finals, falling to the Clippers who had lost Kawhi Leonard during the series. This season, the Jazz have still managed to stay above the play-in zone, currently sitting in fifth. The Jazz is currently on a 5-game losing streak, and need to get their form back during the final stretch of the season.

Mitchell is considered one of the best players to play for the Jazz franchise since the days of Karl Malone and John Stockton. But he will be hoping to win a championship with the franchise, something that the legendary duo was not able to do. He and Rudy Gobert are regular All-Stars, but can’t seem to overcome the playoff hurdle. The Jazz will try their best to turn things around in the NBA playoffs.
