Draymond Green is well-known as one of the most outspoken players in the league, and that generally means he has immense confidence in himself and his teammates. Draymond Green returned from a back injury during the recent Warriors-Wizards game and helped the team to a convincing win.

There are a lot of people who believe that the Golden State Warriors have a legitimate shot at the NBA championship. Some, like Stephen A. Smith, have them as their pick to win it all.

“It is official,” Smith told his “First Take” co-host Molly Qerim. “I’m picking the Golden State Warriors to win the championship. Let me say this to you — Gary Payton, much love to his son, he had a couple of highlight plays last night. I’m a huge fan of Jordan Poole, Damion Lee, these boys, [Juan] Toscano[-Anderson].”

“Steve Kerr is just doing a fabulous job, him and this coaching staff,” Smith said. “If Klay Thompson and James Wiseman come back, they winning the chip.”

Draymond Green has recently expressed his belief that the Golden State Warriors are going to win the championship this season, no matter the seed they are in. The Golden State Warriors have had a very good season, so his confidence in his squad makes a lot of sense.

"Whether we're the No. 2 seed or No. 3 seed, we're going to win a championship.”

“Whether we’re the No. 2 seed or No. 3 seed, we’re going to win a championship. Don’t really matter.”

It remains to be seen if the Golden State Warriors will end up winning the championship. They had three players selected to the All-Star game in Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson is also a former All-Star. Jordan Poole is a fantastic up-and-coming guard. They clearly have the talent to go all the way.

It is good to see the Golden State Warriors back in contention after a brief period where they missed the postseason. Perhaps we’ll see the Warriors win it all, but they’ll have a lot of good teams to deal with on the way there.
