Lakers Fan Goes On An Insane Rant After Pelicans Loss: “Y’all Can’t Beat The Damn Pelicans? Jeanie Buss, Fire Rob Pelinka. Fire Frank Vogel. Fire The Assistant Coaches. I Want Them Motherf***ers Gone.”

It wouldn’t be unfair to the Los Angeles Lakers to say that the team is a bit of a mess right now. Nothing is going right for the organization, the roster has not worked, the front office couldn’t make any moves around the trade deadline and the coaching has seemed flat and without many ideas. So it’s natural that fans of a franchise that are used to success are not happy with what they’re seeing.

A particular low-point this season that occurred just a few days ago was the loss against the New Orleans Pelicans. Fans booed the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena, not even LeBron James was safe from their wrath. A blowout against a team that’s chasing your team in the race to secure a play-in spot is liable to make any fan angry, and the Lakers faithful are no exceptions.

And one fan went much further, posting on social media after the game and ranting about how dire the situation is for the Lakers. A fan with the username bubbadub94 urged owner Jeanie Buss to clean house at the Lakers in what turned out to be an expletive-ridden rant.

“Can’t beat the motherf***ing Pelicans, that’s what you telling me? You can’t beat the Pelicans? Nick Van Exel rolling over in his damn grave. Vlade Divac rolling over in his damn grave. Eddie Jones rolling over in his damn grave. Rick Fox rolling over in his damn grave. Y’all can’t beat the Pelicans?

“Fata** Zion Williamson… he ain’t even playing, and you can’t beat the Pelicans? Jeanie Buss, fire Rob Pelinka. Fire Frank Vogel. Fire the assistant coaches. I want them motherf***ers GONE. Do you hear me?”

While all Lakers fans are unlikely to project their emotions similarly, it’s not unthinkable that they feel somewhat similar to this gentleman here. After all, the Crypto.com Arena has heard a fair number of boos in recent weeks and if something doesn’t change in terms of the results, rants like these will likely be more commonly heard around the streets of Los Angeles.
