James Harden had a fantastic debut with the Philadelphia 76ers today, putting up 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 12 assists. There’s no doubt that he had a good start to his time in Philadelphia, and it’s good to see that he began on the right foot.

Prior to the game, Joel Embiid showered James Harden with praise. He claimed that James Harden is “completely different” than what people see on the surface, and added that Harden is a “great person” and a “great personality”.

Sixers all-star center Joel Embiid says James Harden is ‘completely different than what you see out there. He’s a great person. Great personality. Always smiling & fun to be around.’

Based on the way the Philadelphia 76ers performed tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight, it seems as though team chemistry is on the right track for the Philadelphia 76ers. James Harden had himself a night, but Joel Embiid continued his tear for the team as well putting up 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. There’s no doubt that the two are a very powerful duo in the Eastern Conference, and the Philadelphia 76ers will be tough to face for the other contenders in the East.

Joel Embiid has not yet made it past the second round in his career, and this season, he will have the opportunity to change that. It is clear that many believe that Joel Embiid is an MVP-caliber player, and hopefully, his amazing play during the regular season will translate to the postseason. There is no question that he is an extremely talented big man, and hopefully, we see him win a championship during his career.

The Philadelphia 76ers have a chance to do something special this season with their star duo. They are clearly a real contender now after adding James Harden, and perhaps we’ll see them win a championship this year.
