Richard Jefferson is one of the funniest NBA personalities on television today. The former NBA champion has been an analyst since retiring from the league and has been vastly entertaining for NBA fans with his insight and commentary. And his latest interaction on Twitter shows just how hilarious he can be.

Ballsack Sports, a famous satirical NBA news page that posts fake news stories and quotes about the NBA recently shared a satirical post about how Richard Jefferson confronted LeBron James about dunking on him. It was clearly an outlandish post that made fans laugh. But Jefferson also saw it and reacted to it online.

Jefferson sarcastically slammed Ballsack News for spreading misinformation, jokingly saying that they had misquoted on him. On top of that, he joked that only 90% of the story that they shared was true and that he wasn’t happy about the way they had handled the story.

I’m furious … I’m taking legal action! I will not be doing anymore interviews with you guys. This is misquoted

Only 90% of this is true .. stop the cap

Ballsack Sports: I’d missed a routine lob and he called me “fake a** Vince” because, you know, Vince and I were bald. I told LeBron “You know, that hair ain’t gonna be on your head forever.” And he responds, “yeah, but my nuts are gonna be on yours forever.” He comes down the court, points at me, and next thing I know he’s dunking over me.”

Clearly, Jefferson understood that it was a joke, and poked fun at Ballsack Sports. Unlike Jefferson, many NBA fans have fallen for Ballsack Sports headlines, believing them to be true when they are supposed to be satirical stories that are told in a way that makes them sound believable.

On top of that, Jefferson is actually quite close with LeBron James, having played with him on the 2004 Team USA Olympic squad, and of course, he was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers squad that went on to win the NBA championship in 2016.

Jefferson has always been really funny, and his time as an analyst and a commentator has provided a bigger spotlight for his sense of humor. A few months ago, when the NBA was dealing with a massive COVID-19 outbreak that sidelined a lot of stars, Jefferson jokingly remarked during an NBA game that it was the most amount of fans that had tuned in to a G-League game.
