LeBron James’ Message For The Lakers After Their Victory Against The Knicks: “It’s All About Taking Accountability For Your Own Actions To Begin.”

The Los Angeles Lakers might not be having a great 2021-22 NBA season, but the same cannot be said for their superstar LeBron James. Despite turning 37 years old this season, LBJ is producing some great numbers and trying to help the team win games.

Unfortunately, due to a lot of changes to the rosters and injuries to vital players, the Purple and Gold have failed to support LeBron on a consistent basis. Fortunately for Lakers fans, the team played well against the New York Knicks as they snapped their losing streak.

Well, James, of course, had a great game as he recorded a sensational triple-double. Along with LeBron, Anthony Davis and Malik Monk had decent games too. The same cannot be said for Russell Westbrook, who was benched during the dying minutes of the game for the second time this season.

Anyway, the Lakers got the win and improved their record to 26-28. The job is far from done and James is certainly aware of it. After all, the Lakers had to make a comeback after being down at one point in the game.

Keeping that in mind, LeBron James shared a message for all of his teammates in the postgame interview. He said:

“It’s all about taking accountability for your own actions to begin. You know, if you want change you have to look yourself in the mirror and demand more out of yourself and it’ll trickle down to everybody else in the ball club. You know, if everybody come out and do their job, go out and play offensive and defensively the way the coach and the coaching staff wants us to play, then we give ourselves the best chance to win. We did that tonight, well, we did that in the second half.”

How do the Lakers go up from here? “It’s all about taking accountability for your own actions every game… If you want change you have to look yourself in the mirror and demand more out of yourself and it’ll trick down to the rest of the ball club.” Interview with LeBron James: pic.twitter.com/LaU2V30TUs

As James explained, the Lakers played great in the second half of the game. They need to continue these types of performances if they want to turn their season around.

We are deep into the season, but there is still hope for them. Moreover, once they manage to reach the playoffs, every team is equal and they can try to leave all the bad games that took place in the regular season behind.
