James Harden Shuts Down A Players-Only Meeting Amid Nets Losing Streak: “We’ve Done Enough Talking.”

The Brooklyn Nets are struggling to get wins in recent games. The New Yorkers’ fell from grace has been dramatic, and this situation doesn’t seem to have a foreseeable ending. After visiting Golden 1 Center and losing to the Sacramento Kings, 112-101, the Nets worsened their situation with their 6th consecutive defeat.

Since Kevin Durant went down with an injury, the team has struggled to find its touch. James Harden is expected to be the leader of the squad, while Kyrie Irving joins him on the road, but this duo hasn’t worked as expected for Steve Nash’s team.

After the game, Kyrie Irving was apparently frustrated with Harden, as they both left the court before everybody else. The alarms are set for this team, but The Beard isn’t that concerned about their current moment.

Following the game, Harden was asked if the players would meet to try to find a solution to this issue, and the 2018 NBA MVP was quick to shut down that idea.

“I think we’ve done too much talking,” Harden said, via ESPN. “It’s just, we got to go out there and do it, and do it consistently. We have times when we’re great, and we have times when we’re really bad. We just got to find some consistency throughout the course of games more times than not.”

The Nets are in a bad position right now. They have gone 2-7 since Kevin Durant got injured and have lost their last six games. This situation gets worse by the day and we don’t know how it will end.

They need to figure things out before it’s too late. They went from being the top seed in the East to the sixth place, and nobody is happy to see the team struggling to win games on a nightly basis.

Harden has struggled to get things going and until he recovers his best version, the Nets won’t be able to turn things around.
