Tobias Harris is often overlooked as a player for the Philadelphia 76ers. Over the last few years, Harris has been the third option for the 76ers, behind their All-Star duo of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. But with Simmons boycotting the 76ers, Harris has been asked to step up recently and help out Joel Embiid.

And as things stand, Harris has done a good job at that. For the season, he is averaging 18.5 points per game for the 76ers. He has been a reliable scorer for them and the 76ers have benefitted from his form so far as the forward has become the second option this year.

Having been underappreciated his entire career, it is understandable that Harris would be highly motivated. And in a recent game for the 76ers, he asked fans to keep that same energy. During the game, a few 76ers fans were booing him after a few bad plays. But after he turned that around, they began cheering for him instead. Harris was not impressed with them and told them to stop clapping.

“Don’t f*cking clap.”

Harris has been a key player for the 76ers, and their great form recently. While Joel Embiid has been the clear standout, there is no denying how good he has been for the 76ers this year. And he is a big part of why they are currently one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

Going forward, Harris will want to continue performing at the highest level. He and the 76ers will be looking for redemption. Their poor showing in the playoffs last season is something that is still weighing on them, and they will want to erase that memory as soon as possible.
