The new-look Los Angeles Lakers had no trouble in dominating the Golden State Warriors and registering a blowout victory. It was yet another example of how the newly acquired pieces are getting the job done for the Purple and Gold during the final stretch of the season.

Following the victory, Anthony Davis was obviously happy. After all, AD and LeBron James are finally getting a well-deserved rest, even during games. In the postgame conference, Davis also seemingly took a shot at his former Lakers teammate, Russell Westbrook.

“I think we just know where we are. We don’t have time to be upset or fight ourselves within. We just have to go out and win basketball. All we want to do is go out and have fun. Us having fun is playing the right way, playing defense, making the right plays offensively. It leads to victories. When you’re winning basketball games, you know, it’s always fun and you can enjoy it.”

Davis was vocal when talking about the new-look Lakers having fun while playing post the NBA Trade Deadline.

Although it was primarily praise for the Lakers' recent games, it was also a subtle jab at Russell Westbrook's infamous comments about 'having fun' a few weeks earlier.

While Westbrook made those comments in good regard, he got the timing wrong. At that time, the Lakers needed an aggressive approach to their games instead of having fun.

Anthony Davis Made An Interesting Comment About Russell Westbrook's Move To The Los Angeles Clippers

Following his stint with the Lakers, Westbrook decided to take a few days time and announced his decision to join the Los Angeles Clippers.

Westbrook is certainly happy after joining the fierce rivals of the Lakers, and it has rubbed his former teammates in the wrong way. When Davis was asked about Russ' move to the Clippers, he gave a pretty bland answer and avoided providing a personal opinion on the same.

"I’m not part of that team. I have no idea what their locker room is like, what their chemistry is like. Honestly, I don’t really watch the Clippers like that. I got three kids. I don’t know. I mean, I know they got rid of John and Reggie, so it’s another point guard for them. I’m not sure how T-Lue and the coaching staff will utilize him, but I’m pretty sure he’s happy to stay in LA."

If the Lakers and the Clippers meet in the postseason, it will be an exciting 7-game series. After all, Westbrook joining the Lakers' rivals is something that not many fans expected.
