- Austin Rivers picked his GOAT between Michael Jordan and LeBron James

There are three things that every NBA fan loves to debate about. This includes who the greatest of all time or GOAT is, which legends would be the ultimate NBA starting 5, and which players can be considered to be Top 10 all-time.
NBA players are also fans of the game, and Austin Rivers recently revealed his answers to all three of those questions. Most importantly, he chose LeBron James over Michael Jordan as his GOAT when giving his all-time Top 10.

The Biggest Issues With Austin Rivers’ Answers
The biggest question mark in this whole thing is Austin Rivers leaving Larry Bird out of his all-time Top 10 list. Larry Bird won three championships with the Boston Celtics, along with three consecutive MVPs, and two Finals MVPs. He has a case to be included in any such list.
Also, picking LeBron James over Michael Jordan is something that a lot of modern NBA fans do. LeBron James certainly has a case to be considered the GOAT, but Michael Jordan’s accolades are more numerous than his, and most NBA fans wouldn’t agree with Rivers on his GOAT pick, either.
Another bone of contention that some might have is his choice to put Stephen Curry in his all-time starting 5 over Magic Johnson. Stephen Curry and Magic Johnson both changed the game, but Magic is often in the GOAT debate and won more championships and Finals MVPs than Curry. It’s something to think about.
