The Washington Wizards are entering a very entertaining offseason, where they’ll try to make some changes to improve their level. However, they need to look for more than other players now that Scott Brooks won’t be the team’s head coach anymore.
The former Oklahoma City Thunder head coach was always believed to be on the hot seat, even after leading the team to the 2021 NBA playoffs.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the 55-year-old and the Wizards couldn’t agree on a new contract and decided to finish their relationship. Brook’s contract ended after Washington’s exit of the postseason.
Washington and coach Scott Brooks couldn't come to an agreement on a new deal and are agreeing to part ways, sources tell ESPN. Brooks' deal expired after the playoffs.

With Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal leading the way, this team could make some noise in the East next season. It remains to be seen who is taking over after Brooks and what other changes the Wizards can make.
They want to compete and not waste Beal’s best years, so this offseason appears to be a very moved one for them.
