Buddy Hield, Jabari Parker Test Positive For Coronavirus

1 Min Read

In the past few days, multiple players have tested positive for COVID-19 including Nikola Jokic, Malcolm Brogdon, and two unnamed Phoenix Suns players.

Now, two more players are revealed to be positive — including Buddy Hield and Jabari Parker.

Per the league’s new format, the Kings are set to join the 21 other teams in Orlando. And while their chances may be slim, they shouldn’t exactly be counted out. Before the league’s hiatus, they were doing well and had a record of 28-36.

Unfortunately, there is increasing doubt that anyone will get the chance to compete this summer. As more cases rise both worldwide and within the NBA, player safety and health remain a big concern. If things don’t settle down or get better between now and the end of July, the league may be forced to reassess their plans of a restart.

Nonetheless, you can expect the Kings to be gearing up anyway — with both Hield and Parker ready to go.
