Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul has gotten a lot of heat over the past few days. Following a poor performance in Game 4, that resulted in Phoenix’s second-straight loss, CP3 will need to have a big game if he wants to bring down the noise.
But in a chat with the media, the Suns’ star offered his own perspective on the situation, showing the level-headed nature of his approach…
“I hate it, but it’s that simple,” Paul said. “We didn’t sweep but one series, so this is what happens in a series. That’s why they make it seven games. This is the NBA Finals. It’s dramatic. We got to protect home court and win the game tomorrow.
It’s something I don’t dwell on. Even though it may be an anomaly, it happens. I turned the ball over hella times before,” Paul said. “End of the day, we got to win the game. Me turning the ball over is not giving us enough shots at the basket. I’ll figure it out.”
Chris Paul has been the difference-maker for Phoenix all year long, and some even had him on their MVP ballots
But CP3 has fallen seriously short in these finals so far, evidenced by his most recent 10-point performance in Game 4.
It remains to be seen how Paul will respond, and if the Suns have what it take to take two more wins against a strong and talented Milwaukee team.
