Chris Paul went viral on Friday night after he stood on tiptoes to make himself look just a little bit taller as he took a picture and exchanged jerseys with Victor Wembanyama.

CP3 had to add a couple inches 🤣

Paul, who stands at 6’0″, is used to being next to men who are taller than him, but with the 7’4″ Wembanyama towering over him, the 38-year-old might just have felt a little insecure. I don’t think I’d blame him for that, as many might have done the same in that situation.
NBA Fans Reacted To The Viral Picture
Paul might have thought no one was going to find out about this, but in this social media era, there are cameras everywhere, and he got caught. This picture went viral instantly, and NBA fans reacted to it.
One hilariously stated that Paul wouldn’t reach Wembanyama’s hair even if he jumped.
I think even if he jumps he wont make his hair

A fan admitted he would do anything to make himself look taller if he was over a foot shorter than the guy next to him.
I mean if I was over a foot shorter than another guy I would try everything I can to make myself look taller for the picture 😂

A fan suggested Paul wear a different kind of footwear to look taller.
If CP3 wore these he might not need to be on tippy toes..🔥😂😂🏀👀 pic.twitter.com/5mlBlHBpCH

Another also admitted they’d do the same if they were in Paul’s shoes.
Hahah. I would too!

This really does put a smile on your face. The two men linked up here after the preseason game between the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs. Paul had a solid game with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals, and the 12-time All-Star seems to be settling in well with the Warriors. It was the Spurs who won the game 122-117, though, and the teenager stole the show.
Victor Wembanyama Looked Great Against The Warriors
I know it’s just the preseason, but Wembanyama has looked great so far. The 19-year-old has averaged 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.8 blocks per game, and continued his good play against the Warriors.
In 21 minutes, he had 19 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 5 blocks. The Frenchman had some ridiculous sequences during the game as well, like when Wembanyama blocked Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins.
A lot of the focus regarding him had been on his offense, with many wondering how you can stop someone that tall. He can score from anywhere on the court and is a good ball handler as well, but his impact is going to be felt on the defensive end a lot more than on offense I think.
He can lock up the paint thanks to those long arms and good luck trying to score on him on the perimeter. Wiggins tried to do that and got stuffed. Wembanyama is agile enough to stay with smaller players, and those long arms help him alter shots when you do manage to create some separation.
Coaches are going to have real headaches trying to find a way to solve this Wembanyama problem. His lack of experience as of now might help matters in that regard, but as the years go by, that task is going to get tougher and tougher.
